It’s capable of playing demanding games such as Ark Survival Evolved at medium settings, though graphics are a little slideshow-like on maxed out settings. The phone is slow in general use and feels dated. The primary 50MP sensor can capture some fine detail but it isn’t great for photos. The in-house night mode is also soft and lacklustre. Video is a bit rubbish too with maximum recording being 1080p at 30fps and no stabilisation.

It runs Android 12 on a Unisoc T606 CPU and a choice of 64GB or 128GB storage. It promises two years of OS updates and three of security patches, which should see it through to Android 14. The back cover is made from 100% recycled plastic and the packaging is FSC Mix certified.
