Apple Watch Series 7 Release Date, Price, Full Specification & Review

Apple Watch Series 7 is a big improvement over the previous generation of the smartwatch, offering larger displays and faster charging. It’s also swim proof and offers an ECG app, blood oxygen monitoring and fall detection. However, it doesn’t have any new health features like non-invasive blood glucose tracking that has been rumored.
Apple Watch Series 7 Release Date
Whether you are an Apple Watch Series 5 or 6 owner or someone considering the smartwatch for the first time, this is definitely an upgrade worth considering. This year’s model is thinner, lighter, and features a bigger and brighter display. It also packs in new sensors, a faster processor and improved battery life. The design is refined with softer, more rounded corners, and the edge of the display is curved so that apps and watch faces seamlessly connect to it. It’s IP6X dust-resistant and 5ATM water-resistant so you can wear it in the pool or go for a swim.
There are several new colors and finishes for the aluminum Apple Watch Series 7 including midnight, starlight, green, blue and (PRODUCT)RED. Apple will also offer the Series 7 in a new ‘Space Black’ case and there is a cellular option which requires an iPhone and a cellular plan. Apple hasn’t added any new health features compared to last year, which is a shame as other competitors like the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and best Fitbit watches are introducing some impressive body analysis and wellness monitoring features.
Apple Watch Series 7 Price
The Apple Watch Series 7 starts at $399 and offers a variety of options depending on size, GPS or GPS + cellular connectivity, and band. A new feature called Ovulation Tracking helps women manage their menstrual cycle and avoid pregnancy. It tracks the wearer’s temperature to detect ovulation. There is also a new heart rate sensor that can detect an irregular heartbeat and take manual electrocardiograms. It is also possible to use the Apple Watch to call emergency services or your friends and family with the new SOS feature.
Apple Watch Series 7 Design
Apple Watch Series 7 is a big leap up from the previous generation, especially for users upgrading from a smaller watch. Its new design has a larger display and softer corners that make it look more comfortable and sleek on your wrist. The curved glass also makes it much easier to read in bright sunlight. It is also a lot more robust and is now water resistant up to WR50 (for open-water swimming and dives), so you can wear it in the shower, pool, or while cleaning the house without worrying about a muddy or dusty frame.
For most people, however, the biggest change will be the bigger display. The enlarged display will make it easier to view health and communication notifications and to use watch face complications. Apple has also added some new Watch OS features that take advantage of the larger screen. These include a few new watch faces, including Contour and Modular Duo, and Portraits, which lets you display two full-width complications.
